Parties, picnics, pets, top class cycling, afternoon tea, hog roasts, along with fetes, football and fancy dress, the peninsula has the lot spread over five wonderful.
If you fancy getting out and about around the Shotley peninsula over the next few days, here are some of our picks.
Starting today Thursday with:
A Tapas party at The Outlook
Party the afternoon and evening today, tomorrow and Saturday.
Brantham Village Jubilee Party
Face painting, bouncy castles, bowls, and a Mad Hatter's tea party are among the events in Brantham today.
Mainly at the Brantham Leisure Centre, indoors and outside.
Gates open at 12pm although other events start earlier

Friday: Chelmfest
A vast array of fun is planned at Chelmondiston playing field.
From live music, mini-football, pony rides and much more for all the family.
BBQ in the afternoon Dolly's Pizzas from 6pm.
Free admission event starts at 2pm until 10pm
Saturday:
Queens Afternoon Jubilee Tea
The Outlook, Fox's Marina
12noon- 4pm
Make it a platinum event by adding a glass of prosecco.

World class opera star Christina Johnson headlines this amazing event.
Best of British afternoon with musicians and the Felixstowe Community Choir
Wherstead Park, gates open 1pm, showtime from 2pm

Big Jubilee Picnic
A real community event bringing all villagers together
Shotley's Platinum Jubilee event spread across the village
Disco in the primary school followed by family picnic.
Family picnics and games at Lloyd Road and Kingsland open to all.
Kings and Queen's tea party in the village hall, Hog Roast and ice cream at the Bristol Arms,
