Tuesday's did you know...?

While we are enjoying the sun, even though autumn has officially started, it is not s good for the leaves on trees as climate change harms leaves too. If it stays too warm, they don't change colour as early Autumn leaves are different colours due to sugar, from tree gets , which get trapped in leaves. More sugar means brighter red and purple colours. Leaf colours come from the same pigments that make vegetables different colours, like orange carrots.
