Pubs on the stunning Shotley peninsula are set to be featured this month in a new More 4 series focusing on men's mental health.

Bill Bailey will be walking and talking with world famous news broadcaster Trevor McDonald as part of Bill's Perfect Pub Walk series.

The couple were spotted filming on the peninsula last June, as they visited the Bull at Brantham, the Kings Head in Stutton and Pin Mill's Butt & Oyster.

Bill and broadcasting legend Sir Trevor McDonald embark on walks in Essex and Suffolk, exploring the home of the artist John Constable.

The second episode features their walks that take in Dedham Vale, the Essex-Suffolk border and the Stour Estuary.

As they stroll, they discuss Sir Trevor's emigration to the UK from Trinidad, his long and esteemed career as a journalist and some of his most memorable interviews, including Nelson Mandela.

That episode is due to be broadcast on Tuesday, February 27 at 9pm on More 4.

Before that, the comedian, musician and nature lover takes fellow comedian Alan Davies to the Peak District National Park, walking the Monsal Trail to Derbyshire's highest pub, Abney Moor and Mam Tor.

These two have been friends for 30 years and Bill was Alan's best man. As they walk, they chat about the perils of ageing, the stresses of modern life and the loss of their friend Sean Lock.

The episode kicks off the series on Tuesday, February 20.
