Shotley Gate author, Michael Bacon, has released a new book, a thriller novel, Deceive Me.
Set in London, the Cotswolds and the Caribbean, Deceive Me, is a tale of greed, lust and murder with dramatic consequences and an even more dramatic ending.
Following on from his debut novel, 38 Sleeps, which received terrific reviews, Michael hopes those who enjoyed 38 Sleeps will enjoy Deceive Me just as much.
"I like strong characters and Deceive Me certainly has them," he said.
"The reader is going to love or hate some of them, of that I'm sure. Yes, I like a few twists in my books and this is no different."
Deceive Me is published by Boomsong Publishing and is out now on Amazon in paperback and Kindle.
Michael is a retired journalist, particularly well known for his coverage of Ipswich Witches speedway and non-league football for the Green 'Un, Evening Star and East Anglian Daily Times.
He has lived in Shotley for more than 25 years, is married to Tracey and they have two grown up children.
