Shotley peninsula landscaper and garden designer Robert Boast has once again scooped a prestigious prize in the BALI National Landscaping awards

Robert, who owns, Boast about the Garden won in the Domestic Garden Construction - Under £30K category with his entry; 'Focussing on the view' which highlighted tulips on a raised flower bed.

This year's BALI award winning project for Bast about the Garden, was a beautiful view of the River Deben, which was the perfect backdrop for a traditional garden design of raised borders, seasonal colour and interest.

It included timeless Limestone paving and brick pavers, a bespoke Larch Pergola, occasional seating and dining opportunities along with a sense of privacy and seclusion for all.

"A proper garden for wonderful clients," added Robert.

The judges were looking for a domestic scheme which may include any or all aspects of landscaping, i.e. hard or soft, or both, and they got that.

"This is a terrific nod to the whole team," said Robert. "Winning such a prestigious award gives Boast About The Garden added kudos and respect within the industry and our customers."

The 45th of the annual awards were held at the iconic JW Marriott Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London to celebrate the skills, hard work, quality, commitment, and successes of Association members and are the largest awards of their kind in Europe.

They recognise excellence in landscape design, construction, and maintenance both in the UK and overseas, as well as Supplier exceptional service and employer excellence.

Robert, went to the black tie event with lead landscaper Paul Dixon to collect his award in person.

His Shotley-based Boast about the Garden crew also won a BALI National Landscape award in 2019.

A collection at the event for his year's chosen charities, which were the BALI Chalk Fund and Greenfingers Charity raised £3,260 between them, generously donated by guests.
