The chance to comment on a futuristic style extension to a former farm workers cottage overlooking the river Orwell in part of an are of outstanding natural beauty has been extended by two weeks.

Concerns were raised at the lack of notification to neighbours and the wider community about the proposed extension to 1 Hill House Cottages, near the bottom of Wades.

While the neighbour consultation formally closed last week, the standard consultation expiry date is now Thursday April 7.

Objections have been formally lodged by a near neighbour and also Suffolk Coast and Heath AONB.

The Suffolk Preservation Society have also aired their concerns.
