A weight has been lifted across the Peninsula and surrounding areas following the recent return to Slimming World groups with the easing of covid restrictions.

Members can now book to attend Brantham Leisure Centre for a morning session and Freston Village Hall for an evening. Safety measures are in place, such as social distancing, face masks and hand sanitizers to keep everyone safe.

Slimming World organiser Anne-Marie Sinclair said " We are delighted that our groups can now get together and get the extra motivation, all the support and the accountability members love through being able to weigh in each week on the Slimming World scales."

Obesity is a huge in the news and Slimming World offers a safe, effective method suitable for all. Through losing weight and with encouragement to become more active,at a pace that suits the individual, it provides an opportunity for a healthier lifestyle.
