Takeaway Review: King's Head, Stutton

With many pubs and takeaways fighting a bitter battle just to survive the Hungry Hack has decided to try out each one of the menus we get to know about.
Today we are recommending the Kings Head, Stutton, and in particular, their brilliant Beef bourguignon, with mashed potato and three veg.
Honestly, it looked and smelled so good this hack was rushing to get the photos done.
Not only was the beef melt in your mouth perfect, the red wine aroma and taste permeated the room as the sauce smothered the mash. Broccoli, carrots and peas contributed to the five a day, while separate containers kept everything fresh and hot.
Sadly for you, this dish was a special, so not on every day, but it shows it is worth asking what delight the chef is doing in addition to a pretty comprehensive menu.
The specials are £8.50, and if you are quick they are giving out a pint of takeaway Southwold ale, while the barrel lasts.
Order ahead on 01473 328060, pay by card over the phone and collect from the hatch in the back garden. Safe and simple.
See Kings Head menu for full details.
