The ever popular Shotley pop up library has something for all ages to entertain you, including lunch club, craft table, Lego, tot rock and of course, books.

Looking ahead to next Thursday, Souper Lunch at Shotley Village Hall. Warm place, warm welcome with freshly prepared soup and bread, followed by home-made desserts - all for a fiver.

One of the best places on the stunning Shotley peninsula for lunch or dinner, or just hot drinks, wine or beer after a walk just has to be the Red Lion in Chelmondiston.

The Red Lion serves all the pub classics along with interesting dishes created around seasonal ingredients and local produce as much as possible.

Children and dog friendly, there is also have a beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a pint or two.
