Welcome to your weekly what's on round up for the Shotley peninsula 

Every Thursday we collate all the eye-catching events occurring in your area over the weekend. 

Read on for the peninsula's not to be missed outings this week, and remember, you can add your event for free using the black Nub It button.

This includes an auction, on-call fire fighter open evening, repair cafe, gala concert and a camp fundraiser.

Start today by taking along any lots you have for Saturday's Shotley Auction, viewing tomorrow (Friday) with the main event on Saturday. You never know what you might find.

An open evening to recruit on-call firefighters is being held at Holbrook Fire Station,

Saturday is a packed morning with the auction in Shotley and the Repair Cafe at Holbrook Village Hall.

In the evening, top class music with a Gala Concert featuring Royal Hospital School alumni, including the amazing Britain's Got Talent winner Jon Courtenay.

On Sunday, go along to support youngsters raising money for a Camps International visit.

Meanwhile, The Shipwreck is open for dog walkers, ramblers, sailors sightseers and cyclists.

Pop in for a meal, hot drink, or something a bit stronger.
