It is going to be Fathers Day like no other, but there are still plenty of things you can do to make dad feel special, even if some of the traditional activities are not feasible.

Finding that special little present is still possible on the peninsula with vouchers, branded pub glasses and a pound sale among the Fathers Day offers.

The bargain, 'everything for £1' offer is part of the Bus Shelter project's shop opening at Wherstead.

Get your dad a gift, and help the charity from their shop on Wherstead Road, tucked between the Premier shop and the petrol garage on Bourne Bridge, from 10am Saturday.

If you prefer to fill his belly, then the Kings Head are offering a special gift vouchers. For £14 you can choose from any main meal from their takeaway menu, along with a Magnum ice cream and a freshly pulled pint.

Although the Kings Head is not open on Sunday, the vouchers can be used during their opening hours Wednesday to Saturday.

While dad can't enjoy a pint in a pub just yet, you can help him sup slowly at home with one of the Butt & Oyster's specially branded Deben Inn glasses, while tucking into a takeaway breakfast or lunch, they open from 10am.

Doing things a bit different could be the key to make this a Fathers Day he will not forget.
