It is Mothering Sunday this weekend and the Red Lion has just the thing for treating your dear mum.

The Red Lion serves all the pub classics along with interesting dishes created around seasonal ingredients and local produce as much as possible.

Children and dog friendly, there is also have a beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a pint or two.

Then, from 11am to 4pm at Shotley Village Hall, the Rural Coffee Caravan is back at the Shotley Pop Up Library.

More than just book, crafts, music and fun for all ages.

Babergh Direct councillor Derek Davis will be there between 2pm - 3pm if you have any council questions.

Meanwhile, the stunning Shipwreck is back open after its winter break.

Enjoy stunning views from the patio, or table windows, while tucking into a late breakfast. lunch or early dinner.
