Shotley's socially distanced VJ Day service captured on video

Due to the coronavirus pandemic imposed restrictions, many people could not attend the Victory in Japan Day, which officially marked the end of World War Two, service at Shotley's St Mary's Church, so we have brought it to you.

Steve Trumm put together this half hour YouTube video perfectly capturing Andrew Coulson's service, the work of father and son British Legion's duo Brian and Will Ives and the small congregation paying their respects to all who served, especially in the Far East campaign and those who suffered and died in the prisoner of war camps.
