A peninsula pub has been forced to close after one of the owners was pinged and told to isolate.

Jo Matthews at the Swan in Holbrook was informed by an NHS app earlier this afternoon she had been in contact with someone beloved to have tested positive for Covid, and advised to isolate until next week.

Her partner Adam Climie said: "Jo got pinged, so six days isolation recommended and as much as it hurts, the only responsible thing to do is close for those six days.

"We are both double vaccinated and continue to test negative but we need to make sure the wider community remains as protected as we can."

The Swan is now due to reopen on next Wednesday, 11 August, at @ 4pm
