Shotley peninsula man taken to hospital after windows smashed

A Shotley man was taken to hospital after porch windows were smashed in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Neighbours called emergency services during the disturbance in Great Harlings in Shotley Gate and police and an ambulance arrived to take the person to hospital. No arrests were made.

A Suffolk police spokesman confirmed: "Police were called to Great Harlings at 1.35am yesterday morning to reports a disturbance at an address, where the glass windows in a porch were smashed.

"Officers attended a transported a man to hospital as a result."
