Toilet ware among items stolen in raid on Brantham lodge development

Toilets items and tools were among items stolen during a raid on a new holiday park site at Brantham earlier this week

Thieves broke into a toilet block, cafe and lodges at the Constable Park development, Bergholt Road, sometime between 4:30pm and 9pm on Monday.

Police say entry was forced onto the site and a quantity of sanitary ware, worth approximately £4000 was taken along with a number of hand and power tools.

Witnesses or anybody with any information are asked to contact police quoting reference 37/66759/20.

The holiday and leisure park, run by Anglia Adventures, is being built along the River Stour is scheduled to open its doors to kayakers, paddleboarders and glampers in May next year.

Once complete, there will be a luxury lodge for up to four people, three holiday pods, shower blocks, a toilet block and seven glamping tents, and a cafe called the Kitchen Garden.
