Police call for witnesses after Orwell Bridge road rage incident

Police are appealing for witnesses after a road rage and public order incident near to the Orwell Bridge.

The incident took place between 4.40pm and 4.50pm on Wednesday 23 March heading Westbound between the Naction slip road (junction 57) and the Wherstead slip road (junction 56) on the A14 in the area of the Orwell Bridge.

A left-hand drive, green Volkswagen Transporter entered the A14 at junction 57.

Following an attempted lane manoeuvre, the driver of this vehicle was involved in an exchange with the driver of a silver Volkswagen Golf.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the manner of driving, or who has information that could help their investigation.

They are also keen to hear from motorists who were in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage.
