Police appeal after sexual assault on bus to Chelmo

Police are appealing for witnesses or information after an incident of sexual assault on a female at Chelmondiston.

A 17 year old female was on the 97 bus between Ipswich and Shotley when a male sat next to her and touched her leg before moving his hand higher up her leg. This left her extremely upset.

A young male assisted the victim.

The offender was a white male, aged around 30 to 40 years old, wearing a black beanie hat, black clothing and was wearing a blue surgical mask.

If anyone has information as to who the offender was please call Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number: 37/54005/21. Police are also keen to speak to the male who assisted the victim.
