The organisation which was supposed to look after the Hard area at Pin Mill made a £5,508 loss in its last financial year and failed to bring in any income.

In accounts published at Companies House on Wednesday, August 10 by The Pin Mill Management Community Interest Company showed the group spent £848 in administration fees and £4,660.60 in legal costs, without bringing in any money.

It was announced in July last year that the failed CIC was to be dissolved with all its assets transferred to Babergh and the Associated British Ports.

However, accounts were posted on 30/11/21, showing the CIC still has more than £12,000 in its account, and no dissolution note has been issued.

According to Companies House Roberta 'Bobby' Clark remains the secretary, Ian Saunders the treasurer, with Bryn Hurren, Gus Curtis, Malcolm Harding, Jane Harman, and Ryan Jones are still active directors.

The directors were meant to manage and maintain the Hard Pin Mill and provide repair and inspection facilities for traditional and historic vessels, but fell out with users and lost a costly court case.
