How and where to dispose of your Christmas tree on the Shotley peninsula

Babergh is offering a real Christmas tree recycling scheme on the Shotley peninsula from Monday.
If you have a garden waste (brown) bin - During January, you can leave your real Christmas tree*, with all decorations removed, beside your brown bin on collection day.
Don't have a brown bin? You can recycle your real Christmas tree, with all decorations removed, at one of our collection points listed below. Alternatively, you can take the tree to a Suffolk Recycling Centre.
- Large trees (trees that are more than 7ft tall/have a 3 inch trunk), can only be collected via a collection point, or taken to a Suffolk Recycling Centre.
