Cannabis factory discovered by police in Chelmondiston

A cannabis factory has been found in a flat in Chelmondiston.

Police responded to a report of cannabis plants being grown at a house in Church Road and went into the flat round 10.45pm Tuesday (August 17).

Approximately 100 plants were discovered in the two bedrooms by police. after they gained entry to the flat.

Police remained at the flat for much of the day on Wednesday and enquiries are continuing.
