Call for burglar's accomplice to come forward

Police are calling on the accomplice of an alleged burglar to give himself up.

The call comes two weeks after a teenager was arrested following an incident at Holbrook Academy when he was take in by police on alleged arson, criminal damage and burglary.

Another youngster was understood to be with the 15-year-old that was arrested and police want anyone with information to come forward.

A police spokesman said: "A 15 year-old was arrested on suspicion of burglary on 11 May and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.

"He was subsequently released under investigation while enquiries continue.

"Officers are still looking to speak to another individual who was believed to have been involved in the incident."

Officers have suggested the other person to explain their involvement to his parents and then contact Suffolk police on 101, or use the online reporting tool.
