The East Anglian Air Ambulance have expressed their joy and gratitude after tractor drivers raised enough cash to complete two emergency missions.
The Peninsula Jubilee Tractor Run earlier this month raised a total of £6,127.78 for the EAAA, smashing its target of £5,000.
Zoe Harris, Community Fundraiser at East Anglian Air Ambulance was delighted with the impressive effort and thanked the organisers led by Russel Abbott.
"We are delighted that the Peninsula Jubilee Tractor Run returned again this year to be bigger and better than ever before," said Ms Harris.
"With every mission costing an average of £3,500, our supporters across the region make the difference so our crew can continue to deliver pre-hospital care at the scene of an incident.
"Thank you to the event organisers and the many supporters who have given up so much time to run this event."
More than 80 tractors took part in the event across the pension, with a display and refreshment stop at William Wrinch's Ness Farm in Erwarton, where a raffle was also held.at
"What an incredible amount," said Russel. "A massive thank you to all of our sponsors, to those who donated auction and raffle prizes as well as dealerships and individuals who bought their Tractors to the day.
"Another big thank you to the landowners who granted their permission for us to use their land and all of our friends who helped to organise in the lead up and on the day itself.
"Last but not least, thank you to the public and local residents on our beautiful peninsula who donated so generously to this vital organisation."
