A dog friendly farm shop and cafe near Brantham is looking to mark its first anniversary by expanding its premises.

Fields Farmshop and Cafe in East Bergholt, which opened in November 2021, plans to include a multi use hire space which could include Yoga classes, mums clubs along with weddings, and other group events.

Currently Fields cafe serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea from Tuesday to Sunday.

All the outdoor seating is next to heaters and there is a fire pit, children's playground, and farm animals to meet.

There is a large car park with electric charging points, a bike rack, and gates to different footpaths leading to and from the venue.

Fields is a low waste, zero plastic site, with its impact on the environment an important aspect to the owners and staff.

The farm shop is filled with produce only from the UK, along with biodegradable packaging and refill items that customers can come back for whenever they need.

From November 26 as well as normal service in the cafe, they will be serving festive food from an outside tipi from 3pm to 8pm.

Fields will also be hosting a Christmas experience where families can come and walk through a festive forest and meet elves and Father Christmas in his cosy cabin. AA range of gifts and arts and crafts will be available too.
