Brantham Athletic under 18s have been handed a tasty Suffolk County Cup quarter final draw against Ipswich Town's under 16s.

The Imps will entertain the young Blues at Brantham Leisure centre on Thursday, March 2, with a 7.45pm kick off.

Brantham U18 coach Dan Hart is looking forward to the test and said: "It is a massive draw for us, with half our squad also being U16s. It's a good test for us."

Hart's young Imps play in the Thurlow Nunn Youth League (Central) and currently sit third with two games in hand.

Ipswich Academy's U16s won the Professional Development Cup last season in a 1-0 win over Coventry with current Brantham first team keeper Danny Cullum in goal.
