Peninsula wild camping bosses ready for flocks of visitors after green light for new shepherd huts

Farming entrepreneurs Claire and Sam Wrinch are ready for even more visiting to start flocking to their wild camping site after getting planning permission to install four new shepherd huts.

The Harkstead couple opened their camp site last month, and have already earned rave reviews for their beautiful location, basic facilities and warm welcome for their six pitches, divided by Christmas trees and natural clearances.

Wherstead Road man must face Crown Court after bringing Orwell Bridge to four hour closure

A 38-year-old from Wherstead Road accused of bringing the A14 to a complete halt for more than four hours has been remanded in custody ahead of a crown court appearance

Stuart Winney, of Wherstead Road today appeared at Suffolk Magistrates' Court accused of a single charge of causing a public nuisance after hewn to the Orwell Bridge on Saturday with the intention to disrupt the community.
