Brantham boss Michael Brothers has backed striker Matty Hayden to bounce back after he had a penalty saved last night.
Ten man Imps were held to a 0-0 draw by Hadleigh United in the Thurlow Nunn Premier at the Brantham Leisure Centre, with Nick Punter making an excellent save from a Hayden spot kick in the second half.

Pirate radio lovers from the Shotley peninsula are in for a special treat this weekend.
A celebration of pirate radio and offshore broadcasting is being held across the estuary in Harwich this weekend, accessible by using the Shotley and Harwich foot ferry, or by driving the long way around.

A biker is recovering in hospital after being involved in an accident on the A14 between the Wherstead and Copdock junctions.
Police were called to the scene of the collision, on the eastbound A14 just before 3pm today.

Delays to traffic along the A14 quickly built up and peripheral roads became heavy as drivers looked for alternative routes.

A Shotley woman has been banned after admitting drink driving following a head on collision in the early hours.
Caroline Jones, of Broadwater Gardens in Shotley Gate, appeared at Suffolk Magistrates' Court yesterday morning, to admit driving with 60 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit is 35mcg per 100 mills.
