A Shotley man will be sentenced by magistrates next month after has admitted stalking his ex-wife, sending her numerous text messages and constantly following her on the school.

Andrew Miley, of Great Harlings, admitted stalking his former partner between September 25 and November 25 last year.

Residents at a peninsula care home marked what would have been Elvis Presley's 85th birthday with a special day of the King's music, films and a life size cardboard cut-out.

Hopes of reintroducing free summer swimming sessions for youngsters in Babergh from 2022 have been voiced by council chiefs, as the first draft of the 2021/22 budget was approved.

Babergh District Council's budget is proposing a council tax rise of just under 3% from April 2021 – around £5 per year extra for a Band D home, while the garden waste collection fees are set to rise by £2.50.
