A family of polar bears are expected to arrive at Jimmy Farm and Wildlife Park this weekend.

While rumours of a a polar bear, along with her cub and step dad, have been circulating for weeks Jimmy's Farm have refused to confirm what they have been hinting at for weeks on their social media pages.

Nub News revealed last month that Arctic wolves had already been housed at Jimmy's Farm after being moved down from Cumbria.

A delivery for the polar bear enclosure at the site was made last week by Wincanton, and filmed by the driver

The driver is heard say he has dropped of a pallet of salt for the polar bears at Jimmy Farm, which he was told was 'arriving next week apparently.'

The drop off was made last weekend in time from the bears arriving from Sweden.

The polar bears will follow another mother polar bear and her two cubs which have settled into their new home at Peak Wildlife Park near Leek, in Staffordshire.

Both sets of bears have come from Orsa Predator Park in Sweden, which is closing down and needed to rehome them.

Jimmy's bears have a specially designed space at the park, with large, natural pools and rugged terrain within the 24-ace Suffolk site.

However, there are numerous animal welfare groups against moving polar bears to UK sites.

Jimmy's Farm and Wildlife Park will need to get planning permission and licensing from the local authority, in this case Babergh District Council.
