Welcome to your weekly what's on round up for the Shotley peninsula sponsored by Shotley Marina and The Shipwreck
Every Thursday we collate all the eye-catching events occurring in this area over the weekend.
Read on for the peninsula's not to be missed outings this June weekend, and remember, you can add your upcoming event for free using the black Nub It button.
Starting tonight (Thursday) solve the mystery of the Murder on the Brantham Express, at the village hall. Also on Friday and Saturday.
Some of the best military musicians in the east come together on Saturday morning at the Royal Hospital School for a free cncert.
Bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds of The Royal Hospital School whilst listening to the concert. (Moved inside if wet)
Also on Saturday, fun for all the family, especially young animal lovers, with Woolverstone Hall Nursery.
Children will have a wonderful time meeting and petting a variety of lovely animals, as well as taking part in themed activities which will include play, arts and crafts, and face painting.
The event is FREE and open to all children from birth to seven years old.
If it is arts and crafts you enjoy then get along to the Peninsula Crafts Fair on Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
An exhibition of local artisans, with an opportunity to buy your favourite pieces.
Meanwhile, The Shipwreck is open for dog walkers, ramblers, sailors, sightseers and cyclists all weekend.
Plenty of outside seating with fascinating two counties views across the estuary.
Pop in for a meal, hot drink, or something a bit stronger.
