Tonight is the start of Movie Nights at Wherstead Park, with three incredible films on the huge outside screen.

Bridget Jones's Diary, Bridesmaids and Moulin Rouge. There'll be merriment before your film begins come early to grab a bite to eat and enjoy some music beforehand. There will classic hits before the movie and also a live performance from the incredible Phoebe Austin on stage too.

While there will be outdoor heating on site however we still encourage you to bring a blanket to snuggle under if it gets cold after dark.

Your children will love Smartypants crafts play sessions run by two experienced child minders in Alex and Charlotte.

They are welcoming children aged five -11 (and younger if older siblings will be attending.)

Friday night is the guaranteed tasty Thali night at The Red Lion in Chelmondiston, in addition to its usual menu.

The Red Lion serves all the pub classics along with interesting dishes created around seasonal ingredients and local produce as much as possible. Children and dog friendly, there is also have a beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a pint or two.

On Monday afternoon Tom with his Tot Rock is just one of the attractions at Shotley's Pop Up library.

Meanwhile, The Shipwreck is open for dog walkers, ramblers, sailors, sightseers and cyclists all weekend.

Plenty of outside seating with fascinating two counties views across the estuary.

Pop in for a meal, hot drink, or something a bit stronger.
