Did you know?

British field hockey player and Ipswich Town fan Cherry Seaborn is 28 today. Suffolk-born Cherry is married to singer Ed Sheeran who she first met at high school in Suffolk. They became engaged in January 2018 and married secretly later that year. They welcomed their daughter named Lyra, in August of 2020.

While she was on the Durham field hockey team, Cherry won the British University championship in 2012 and 2013.

Quote of the day

"I've probably had three days apart from her (Cherry) in the last year…but we're very, very strong. I've never been happier. I've never been more comfortable. I've never been more inspired. I feel like everything's fallen into place, and it's fallen into place because I've given it the time to fall into place."

Ed Sheeran

Joke of the day:

Why couldn't Cinderella be on the field hockey team?

Because she always ran away from the ball.
