Blue Wilson is resuming where she left off on the Shotley peninsula as she continue her 11,000 UK coastline walk in aid of Surfers Against Sewage and Sea Changers.

The Selby town council worker is walking the entire coastline during her holidays and days off, and is not doing it in the conventional all in one go, one way route either.

She completed the first part of the peninsula walk at the end of July when she finished off that 14 mile leg with a pint of Aspall's at the Shipwreck, and enjoyed another when she arrived last night.

After spending a good night at the Shipwreck Lofts at the Shotley Marina, Blue set off this morning on the next leg of her epic trek starting opposite the Bristol Arms heading down the river Stour path taking in Erwarton, Harkstead, Lower Holbrook, Stutton, and Brantham before yomping into Essex.

Blue and her partner Andy Argyle will stay at Harwich tonight and make her way along the Essex coastline as far as Langenhoe before heading back to her Yorkshire home on Wednesday.

Recent events which have shown a huge increase in water companies, including Anglian Water, pumping raw sewage into our rivers, have made her even more determined to raise money for Surfers Against Sewage and Sea Changers.
