Two new Little Free Pantries pop up on the peninsula

Two new Little Free Pantries are serving up free food on the peninsula.

Holbrook Helpers have installed their version of this ever growing facility offering sealed foodstuff and personal care items or other essentials for anyone in the community to take as they need. Anyone can replenish the pantries when they can by leaving items.

One Little Free Pantry is situated by the village hall in Holbrook, and the other is in Clench Road, near St Mary's care home. Hand sanitiser is supplied at both pantries, which people are asked to use.

The initiative follows Little Free Pantries being set up last October in Chelmondiston, Harkstead and two in Shotley, by the Reverend Canon Liesbeth Oosterhof from the Shoreline Benefice. (Full story here...)
