Tuesday's did you know...?

There are 12 types of seagulls, some cheeky as pictured, some chilled. The most common, which we will see here, include the black-headed gull (different in summer and winter) the great and lesser black-backed gull, kittiwake, the common gull and the herring gull. Much rarer around here are the Mediterranean gull (below), and occasional winter visitors the Iceland and Glaucous gulls.
