Did you know?

Today celebrates Battle of Britain Day marking 80 years since Prime Minister Winston Churchill made a speech after the defeat of France, and coined the phrase, '…the Battle of France is over. The Battle of Britain is about to begin.'

The leader of the RAF was Sir Hugh Dowding and even though Britain was outnumbered it defeated the Germans in the air.
