Stay At Home: Live music from Rock The Lock Down streaming from musicians' home into your front room

By Derek Davis 22nd Mar 2020

Staying in at home does not necessarily mean missing out on live music.

Dozens of musicians are taking part in Rock the Lock Down, who will live stream their tunes from their homes into your front room, from 14,00 GMT today, following yesterday; success when nearly 250,000 people across Europe logged on.

The brainchild of Spanish social media duo Lucy and Ollie, hundreds of people across Europe have joined their Facebook page so they can listen in to the live event.

Stephen Richards, site admin, said: "They wanted to create a place where we can all watch a Live concert they have created including many amazing acts from around the world.

"They never expected this to grow this huge. They are just two people wanting to share the love of music. They now have a few extra hands to help with the admin who have been working their socks off (but please bare with us in approving your posts).

"The comments and love from around the world are amazing. We honestly can not thank you all enough. Without you all this would not have been possible. We are relying on you all to keep sharing only love and positivity at this hard time."

Go to Rock the Lock Down say hello and get ready to rock.
