More than 20 families brought their pets to take part in a fun dog show at Spring Lodge care home, in Woolverstone.

Residents enjoyed watching the dogs, all on their best behaviour, parade around the garden and the friendly competition resulted in four winners.

Spud the Corgi won loveliest fella, Lily won loveliest lady, Stanley won waggiest tail and Lady won funniest Pooch.

Visitors enjoyed a barbecue with Pimm's and ice creams and there was a bouncy castle for children.

There were craft stalls and a tombola and raffle which raised more than £120 for the Blue Cross rehoming centre, in Ipswich.
