Shotley peninsula Nub News is delighted to be one of 100 businesses called upon to sign a pledge committing to support better gender equality in the workplace, ahead of International Women's Day next Monday.

In what was a simple and efficient process the Nub News regional editor for Suffolk committed the three sites covering the peninsula, Hadleigh and Felixstowe to this important pledge.

After sending an email to [email protected], the pledge form was sent by return and after reading through the pledge carefully, filled in the form an returned it, with our logo, and we were signed up.

Businesses do not have to be a member of the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, they just need to support a better gender equality in their workplace.

If any business would like to be recognised as a supporter of gender diversity in the workplace, they can sign up to Suffolk Chamber's Gender Equality in Business Pledge by emailing [email protected] .
