Family, friends and neighbours today paid a moving tribute to a Shotley woman today as a horse and carriage took her coffin from her home in Great Harlings to her final resting place at St Mary's Church.

A number of floral tributes adorned the cortege, which was led by a funeral director from R Gwinnell & Sons down the street and onto the main road.

Only a small number of people were allowed to attend the service at the church, as restricted under Covid regulations.

A limited number of friends and family went on to a small wake at the Shotley Rose, which was held outside at their patio.

A tribute page has been set up in animal lover Wilma and donations can be made to the Blue Cross; details here...

Or c/o R Gwinnell & Sons, The Old Bell Funeral Home, 1-3 Stoke Street, Ipswich IP2 8BX

RIP Williamina Millar 1939-2021
