A Shotley man will be sentenced by magistrates next month after has admitted stalking his ex-wife, sending her numerous text messages and constantly following her on the school.

Andrew Miley, of Great Harlings, admitted stalking his former partner between September 25 and November 25 last year.

David Bryant, prosecuting, told Suffolk Magistrates' Court how she had been in a relationship with Miley since 2009 and the couple, who have two children together, married in February last year.

But by July the the pair had split up and 41-year-old Miley started sending her texts, which was claimed in court were

'making apologies and also threatening to commit suicide, and saying it was all her fault'.

Suffolk magistrates will sentence Miley on February 8 when his solicitor Claire Lockwood will offer mitigation.
