TOGETHER AGAIN FOR FAMILY SERVICE ONLINE

You will go out in joy

and be led forth in peace;

the mountains and hills

will burst into song before you,

and all the trees of the field will clap their hands

Isaiah 55:12

Opening sentence

We pray

Lord, we have woken up with you this morning.

We have come Together Again with thanksgiving and joy. Thank you for this moment and for the people we stand alongside this morning. Please accept our thanks and our praise. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen

We say sorry

Lord our God, in our sin we have avoided your call

Lord have mercy

Lord have mercy

Our love for you is like a morning cloud, like the dew that goes away early, Christ have mercy

Christ have mercy

Deliver us from the consequences of our actions:

bind up our wounds and revive us. Lord have mercy

Lord have mercy

We are forgiven

May the God of love bring us back to himself,

Forgive us our sins and assure us of his eternal love in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

We listen

Feeding the 5000 John 6.1- 21

For words that tell stories, for words that make us laugh and cry, for words that make us think

Reflection

We affirm our faith

We believe in God the Father,

from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named.

We believe in God the Son,

who lives in our hearts through faith,

and fills us with his love.

We believe in God the Holy Spirit,

who strengthens us with power from on high We believe in one God:

Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen

We pray

ALL: THANK YOU GOD

In silence we offer to God the cares and concerns on our hearts.

There is only one God, there is only one King.

There is only one body, that is why we sing!

Bind us together Lord,

bind us together

with cords that cannot be broken. Bind us together Lord,

bind us together Lord,

bind us together in love

As Jesus taught us so we pray:

Our Father, in heaven,

hallowed be your name.

your kingdom come;

your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread.

and forgive us our sins,

as we forgive those who sin against us.

Lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and for ever. Amen.

Collect for today

We say together

O Lord, all the world belongs to you,

and you are always making all things new. What is wrong you forgive,

and the new life you give

is what's turning the world upside down. 3.

This world lives divided and apart.

You draw us all together and we start

in your body to see

that in fellowship we

can be turning the world upside down.

Patrick Appleford

We are sent out May the LORD bless us and protect us.

May the LORD smile on us and be gracious to us. May the LORD show us his favour

and give us his peace .

Let us go in peace to love and serve the Lord.

In the name of Christ. Amen
