The animal VC and other medals awarded to a parachuting dog who served with the SAS during World War Two have this week sold for a world record £140,000.
The PDSA Dickin Medal for Gallantry - otherwise known as the Victoria Cross for animals - and the RSPCA Red Collar for Valour were presented to War Dog Rob for his gallantry and outstanding service after he took part in 20 parachute jumps while serving with Infantry in North Africa and the 2nd SAS Regiment in Italy.
