Residents enjoy a Burns Night fling at Woolverstone's Spring Lodge

Residents had bit of a fling when they celebrated Burns Night at Spring Lodge.

They got in to the mood by listening to Scottish folk songs in the morning, singing along to 'The Bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond', and the 'Sky Boat song', reading Robert Burns poems, whilst wearing Tam O'Shanta hats and tartan sashes.

The staff got into the swing of things by getting up to do a bit of Celidh dancing.

It all brought back sweet memories for some residents who have had lovely times visiting Scotland, and there were lots of Scottish accents being tried out.

For lunch residents were offered Haggis, neeps and tatties and afterwards we watched the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo from 2016 which always gets the toes tapping.
