Shotley peninsula's beating heart has been captured by a local film maker.

Expert drone pilot Luke Macaulay flew over farmers in Holbrook working the fields planting seed potatoes in painstakingly prepared mounds.

Seed potatoes are special potatoes that are then cut into smaller pieces. The seeds are loaded into the bin on the potato planter which plants four rows at a time. Luke captures every part of the planting process with the tractor drivers operating in perfect unison.
