Brightening up into the afternoon with a few showers possibly lingering in one or two spots. Wednesday will see a much brighter day with very little cloud around. Turning increasingly cloudy and windy on Thursday, as a band of rain sweeps in from the west, possibly wintry over high ground with frosty mornings and cold nights.
