Peninsula road closure details ahead of Sunday's half marathon

Motorists looking to get on and off the Shotley peninsula from Wherstead Road and Bourne Hill are being warned of diversions and delays ahead of the Ipswich Half marathon tomorrow morning.
The race starts from Portman Road at 9.30am and the Strand will be closed at the Wherstead Road junction and also from the Freston junction diverting you through Holbrook.
The road is likely to stay closed until midday, depending on any stragglers.
