A Brantham landlady has set up special 'pub desks' for those fed up of working from home and yearning for a change of scenery.

The Bull at Brantham are offering a table for yourself, or work colleagues within your bubble, where you can get on with your daily business and enjoy being out.

For £10 you get a pub desk near a plug socket, free WiFi for three hours with unlimited tea and coffee, along with with a lunch time baguette.

Gemma Chenery has been delighted with the reaction so far after posting details on social media.

She told Nub News: 'A friend of mine in the north of England told me about a pub near her that was doing this and wondered if it might work for us.

"I thought 'why not give it a go?' It seems to have gone down well already. We need to try these things."

The offer is on Tuesday to Friday 9.30am - 3pm and you can book your table by calling 01473 328248 or go to Brantham Bull here...

Covid-19 protocols are in place, including a QR code, which matches up with the NHS app.
