Prayers for Ukraine are returning to St Andrews Church in Chelmondiston tonight.

Led by the Reverend Canon Liesbeth Oosterhof the now monthly prayers for Ukraine will meet tonight at 7.30pm.

Rev Canon Oosterhof said: "Our prayer meeting follows the pattern known by some as a Julian meeting: after a shared opening prayer and lighting of the peace candle, we have piece of music, followed by 20 to 25 minutes of silent prayer.

"The silence is broken by another piece of music. The Lord's Prayer and the Grace close the evening."

Prayers for Ukraine will be a regular feature at St Andrews on the first Tuesday of each month.
