More than 90 artists and craft makers, including some from the Shotley peninsula, will have their work for sale at this year's Art on the Prom in Felixstowe.
The long-awaited return of this long standing event happens on Sunday 3 September and promises to be a wonderful day-long celebration of creativity and community.
The event is free to attend, open to the public from 10am until 4.30pm, and will be located in its usual place along the promenade, from the Pier to Spa Gardens.
In addition to the arts and crafts, there will be a programme of walkabout artists, entertainments and street food happening across Felixstowe put on by Love Felixstowe, a town wide free festival taking place over the same weekend.
Visitors are encouraged to come along and celebrate the return of a much loved event as well as to support the fantastic array of artists who will be exhibiting.
The event has been made possible by financial and organisational support from the East Suffolk Council, Felixstowe BID and Felixstowe Town Council as well as sponsorship from two local businesses Goldstar Transport and Aquabridge Law.
"Without the generous support from local organisations, the return of the event in 2023 would not have been possible." said Iona Hodgson, event producer.
"Art Eat Events are proud to be reinstating this community driven event and wish everyone who takes part huge success. We hope to return every year and urge the public to visit and enjoy what promises to be a wonderful array of affordable arts and crafts from local talented creatives,"
The organisers continue to add the finishing touches to the event and are still recruiting volunteers, so if you are interested in helping out on the day, check the website. www.artontheprom.uk For more information please contact Iona by email at [email protected]
